Thermawood
Outdoor World continues to sell a firewood product this fall / winter called Thermawood. What is Thermawood and what are Thermalogs? It's our own mix of sawdust and natural wood by-products compressed and shaped into "logs" that burn hotter, cleaner, longer and with more energy output than regular barkless firewood. You don't need any special equipment to burn Thermalogs, either. Whatever you use to burn your firewood logs should work fine.
We don't have any special packaging for our Thermalogs yet but if you're interested in getting 2 times more BTU than a conventional log at a great price, please contact us regarding availability. In times like these, people need a product that's efficient, affordable and just plain better than normal firewood. Thermalogs are available in our retail stores and for wholesale distribution.

Wood Recycling Services
Do you have brush, sticks, logs, stumps and other clean wood waste you want to get rid of? This season, we will accept raw wood materials for free at our wholesale Hooksett facility and smaller amounts of wood-recyclable materials our retail locations in Hooksett and Concord. Bring us your clean wood!
Alternatively, if you have enough wood-recyclable materials to make it worth the trip, we may also be willing to pick up raw materials on location with our own trucks and trailers. If you've got wood, brush, logs and stumps, we'd like to know, please contact us for more information.
What's New for 2008
Spring has arrived!
Even in this tough economic climate, our raw materials supply is strong and we are shipping mulch. Our product line hasn't changed much and customers can expect the same high-quality we delivered last year.
Efficiency is a priority for Outdoor World in 2008 and beyond. We've added a new grinder to our mulch production division, increasing our production capacity. Additional improvements to the grounds of our wholesale facility are helping to keep costs down and create value for our customers. We remain committed to operating efficiently and keeping our prices competitive.
